Mr. Fernandez has been serving successful families for over two decades

Mr. Fernandez joined Fieldpoint Private Securities, LLC in 2020 following a 28-year career with BNY Mellon (and predecessors). From 2014 to 2020 he served as president of the Florida region, responsible for the firm’s wealth management and planning, investment management, private banking, and client service, and was a member of the firm’s asset management and wealth management operating committees. Prior to that, he served as president of the firm’s Florida East region and managing director for portfolio management in Florida, overseeing investment personnel across the state.

Mr. Fernández received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Barry University, and his certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Florida State University. He is a CFP® professional and was a member of the inaugural class of The Partnership’s Next Generation Executive program at Harvard Business School.
